THE Story of THE IRRESISTIBLE URGES

The Irresistible Urges are an international band-collective based in Edinburgh, playing eclectic original songs ranging from agit-pop to world music rhythms through to a seductive tango groove.

The only band in Scotland to have both a member who went to the original Woodstock Festival and a drummer and Djembe player who is known throughout the Auld Reekie world music and afro-beat scene. Eclectic vocals from a high energy performer  exhibiting different vocal styles, convey a wide emotional palette.
